Identity Access Management Risk and Controls Lead

Develop and train the enterprise on relevant IAM best practices Develop and support automated IAM processes Develop and implement ongoing IAM risk and efficiency improvements with limited management oversight Work with Enterprise partners and security control owners on IAM automation development and process alignment with InfoSec maturity targets Develop and implement risk and control frameworks for IAM activities Manage the portfolio and full lifecycle of existing IAM controls Propose strategies to reduce security risk and improve organizational controls through prevention, detection, and response measures Lead a small team of analysts across risk management activities Perform forensic data analysis and automated, data-driven control testing Support audit inquiries and evidence requests Present audit-ready reference documentation Serve as an organizational spokesperson on specialized projects or programs and advise senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and applications Requirements 8–10 years of related experience Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience Knowledge and experience with modern, data-driven risk analysis processes, techniques, and tools Preference for risk analysis experience in the Financial Services Industry Expertise in industry best practices and tools for risk management/GRC, issue management, control frameworks, control testing, and automation Experience with identity and access management controls, security architecture and engineering, security controls testing, forensic investigations, and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with directors, managers, system engineers, end users, and broad stakeholder groups Ability to develop and articulate risk management objectives and outcomes to business stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively and establish credibility and relationships with stakeholders and partners Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Team-oriented interpersonal skills Comfort supporting audit inquiries, evidence requests, and audit-ready documentation Ability to work with limited oversight and exercise considerable technical judgment Demonstrates expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes, risk management frameworks, and automation strategies while effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to lead teams, conduct forensic data analysis, and support audit processes in a collaborative environment.
