Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description IO Electrical Validation Engineer with 1 2 years of experience to support post-silicon validation activities for high-speed I/O interfaces. The ideal candidate will work onsite in Santa Clara and collaborate closely with silicon design, system, and validation teams to ensure robust electrical performance of next-generation products. Key Responsibilities
- Perform post-silicon electrical validation of high-speed I/O interfaces.
- Execute lab-based validation, characterization, and debug of silicon using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Develop and execute validation test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Analyze test results, identify electrical issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve failures.
- Support bring-up, debugging, and performance tuning of IO interfaces on silicon platforms.
- Document validation results and provide clear reports to engineering teams.
- 1 2 years of experience in post-silicon or electrical validation.
- Basic understanding of high-speed digital or mixed-signal IO interfaces .
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, probes, and signal generators.
- Familiarity with silicon validation, debug methodologies, and test environments.
- Ability to analyze electrical signals and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in a semiconductor or hardware validation environment.
- Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry IO standards (PCIe, USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc.) is a plus.
