Team Lead

Available Positions QMHP-CS Team Lead The QMHP-CS Team Lead plays a dual role by providing direct client services while also supporting the supervision, coordination, and development of their assigned team. This individual must demonstrate clinical competency, leadership ability, and a strong understanding of community-based mental health service delivery. Qualifications: Educational Requirement: Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a qualifying field such as psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, or another related human services field as defined by the Texas Administrative Code. Degree verification must be available through the National Student Clearinghouse. Professional Designation: Must meet the criteria to be designated as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS) under Texas HHSC guidelines. QMHP-CS The QMHP-CS is responsible for providing direct mental health services to individuals and families within the community setting. This role supports clients through skills training, case coordination, crisis intervention, and treatment plan implementation. Qualifications: Educational Requirement: Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human services, education, or a related field as defined by the Texas Administrative Code. Degrees must be verifiable through the National Student Clearinghouse. Experience Requirement: Preferably one year of experience working with individuals with mental health needs, behavioral challenges, or in a related human services setting. Experience providing services to children, adolescents, or adults in community-based environments is highly valued. Certified Family Partner (CFP) The Certified Family Partner plays a vital role in supporting families by using their own lived experience as the parent or legal guardian of a child with a mental health diagnosis. Qualifications: Lived Experience Requirement: Must be the parent or legal guardian of a child who has been diagnosed with a mental health condition and has received mental health services. The candidate must have personally navigated service systems such as behavioral health, special education, juvenile justice, or child welfare for at least one year. Listened Therapist (Therapist) The Therapist plays a critical role in both the intake and therapeutic services provided at HHCSS. This dual‑function position requires the ability to conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and/or adults in a community‑based or outpatient setting. Qualifications: Licensure Requirement: Must hold a current and valid Texas license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or an associate‑level license (e.g., LPC‑Associate, LMSW, LMFT‑Associate) with active supervision and approval from agency leadership. Education Requirement: Must possess a master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited college or university. Assessment Experience: Must have experience conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including familiarity with CANS/ANSA assessments, DSM‑5 diagnostic criteria, and development of individualized treatment plans.
