Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Level 2 nursery within a 6-bed LDR unit, maintaining a 1:3 patient ratio
Attend vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as baby nurse when the nursery is not open
Utilize CPAP and high-flow experience in the management of neonatal patients
Perform IV starts and support neonatal resuscitation as needed
Participate in high-risk delivery attendance in the role of baby nurse
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — pending licensure not accepted
Minimum 3 years of NICU nursing experience
Newborn resuscitation skills required
BLS certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
EPIC experience required
Weekend availability required unless posted schedule indicates otherwise

Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy in neonatal patients
Experience attending high-risk deliveries as baby nurse
Proficiency with IV starts in the neonatal population
Prior experience in a combined LDR/nursery or similar care setting
