Title: Business Analyst Life Insurance Systems

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: USD 50-55/hr on W2 (If you re interested in the role but have different compensation expectations, please feel free to share your expected rate with us)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Systems professional with strong hands-on experience with ALIP (Client Life Insurance Platform) to support the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and enhancement of life insurance business processes and applications.

The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of life insurance operations and insurance package solutions, with particular expertise in ALIP. The role will work with business and technical stakeholders to configure insurance products, support transaction processing, evaluate solutions, document requirements, conduct testing, and contribute to implementation and enhancement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory ALIP Experience

Hands-on experience with ALIP (Client Life Insurance Platform) is required for this position.

Candidates must demonstrate relevant ALIP experience in areas such as configuration, product setup, transaction processing, workflow, application support, testing, troubleshooting, or related ALIP functionality.

ALIP experience is an essential qualification for this role because the position requires direct work with the ALIP platform.

Experience with other insurance platforms alone does not substitute for the required ALIP experience.

Insurance Domain Experience

• Demonstrated experience working with life insurance applications, systems, processes, or operations.
• Knowledge of life insurance processes such as:
  • New Business
  • Underwriting
  • Policy Administration
  • Claims
  • Data and Reporting
  • Analytics
  • Actuarial processes
• Experience with Product Setup and Policy Administration System Management.
• Understanding of insurance business processes and operations.
• Understanding of transactions and policy value processing.
• Experience working with insurance products and related business rules.

Experience supporting U.S. life insurance business processes or insurance package/vendor solutions is preferred.

ALIP / Insurance Package Experience

Demonstrated experience with ALIP functionality, including:

• Insurance product configuration.
• Product parameters and values.
• Insurance product and rider rules.
• Administration rules.
• Correspondence rules.
• State-specific product or process variations.
• Transaction and process setup.
• Business input and transaction-processing screens.
• Workflow rules.
• ALIP web application functionality.
• Data entry and transaction processing.
• Cycle execution.
• Staging job execution.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution.
