Join a diverse and inclusive team at Woodforest National Bank, a leading employee‑owned bank in the U.S. Responsibilities As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of our organization and will receive training to successfully engage and enhance the customer’s experience by offering products and services that best meet their needs. Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers. Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance. Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of ATMs. Employ problem‑solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns consistently with Woodforest Experience training. Job Information Branch Banking. Locations Primary Location: Alabama – Huntsville. Work Locations: AL Huntsville – University‑8177. Minimum Qualifications / Experience 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience; or an Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree. Previous in‑store banking experience is preferred, but not required. Must be positive and engaging. Formal Education & Certification High School Diploma or equivalent required. Work Status Full‑time. Supervisory Responsibility No. Travel Little to no overnight travel; occasional business need may cover nearby branch locations up to 45 miles. Working Conditions Standing most of the time; may involve walking, moving, bending, stooping or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.
