Your Role

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (aligned with credentialing)
• Educating families and individuals about preventive measures, wellness, and managing diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico
• Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
