Compensation & Benefits Salary range: approximately $120,000 - $155,000 annually , depending on experience

Star Nursing is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager - Neuro ICU to lead a high-acuity critical care unit.


This role provides both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while supporting staff development, compliance, and performance outcomes.

Position Summary


The Nurse Manager collaborates with senior leadership to oversee the Neuro ICU, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care delivery. This role maintains 24-hour accountability for the unit and supports both administrative and clinical functions.


Primary Responsibilities


Clinical & Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily operations of the Neuro ICU
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital, state, federal, and Joint Commission standards

Staff Management & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Provide education based on clinical and leadership expertise
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention

Quality & Performance Improvement

• Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements
• Support quality initiatives and regulatory readiness
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices

Collaboration

• Partner with Administrative Director and hospital leadership
• Participate in committees and interdisciplinary initiatives
• Support continuity of care across departments

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent experience)
• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ICU or related specialty
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience
• Working knowledge of quality improvement and Joint Commission standards
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, or Management
• National certification in specialty area
• Neuro ICU or critical care leadership experience
