Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care in a fast-paced ER setting. This role offers a 13-week contract opportunity with consistent day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and prioritize patient conditions efficiently upon arrival.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions as per protocol.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status continuously, providing timely updates to physicians.
  
  
• 
  Support behavioral health de-escalation and trauma procedures as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with active state certification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of ER or adult emergency department experience.
  
  
• 
  Current CPR, ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in using Meditech EMR system and emergency equipment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, and be a team player.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of trauma, behavioral health, and airway management procedures.
