Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for an acute care Medical Surgical unit. The RN will provide quality patient care to adults and geriatrics, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient progress accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate effective patient care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license for GA or a Compact state.
• Have at least 1 year of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and knowledge of Med Surg protocols.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts) with flexibility for floating as needed.
• Maintain full compliance with hospital and agency requirements.
