Oral Surgeon Opportunity | Whitestone, NY
The Smilist is looking for an experienced Oral Surgeon to join our team and help expand our implant and full-arch treatment capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon who enjoys collaborative care, advanced implant procedures, and building a strong referral relationship with General Dentists and specialists.
We are seeking someone who is comfortable with All-on-X cases and can work closely with General Dentists on same day implant procedures.
Our goal is to bring more of these cases in house while developing a small in house lab to support removable prosthetics, including implant supported dentures, partials, and flippers. The Oral Surgeon will play an important role in treatment planning, extractions, and implant placement, working collaboratively with the restorative team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Schedule
- Initially every other week, with the opportunity to grow to a weekly schedule as demand increases.
- Flexible opportunity for a surgeon looking to add days to an existing schedule.
Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
- Active NY state dental license and board certification or eligibility.
- Experience with implant placement and full-arch cases, including All-on-X.
- Comfortable collaborating with General Dentists and restorative providers on immediate-load temporaries and comprehensive implant treatment.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
