Job Description

The Clean Room Assembler operates production equipment, assembles and inspects medical products, and supports multiple areas within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. You rotate between machines and workstations, perform visual inspections, package and label finished goods, and follow detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality products and efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor injection molding presses and related production equipment, including hot stampers, paint machines, pad printers, assembly machines, and other operation-related machinery.
• Maintain pace and timing with production equipment to meet established output and quality standards.
• Perform visual, in-process, and final inspection of parts, checking for contamination and defects to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Trim, assemble, and package parts according to operator’s guides, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Label and scan finished products accurately to support traceability and inventory control.
• Rotate between different areas, lines, and machines within the production environment to support overall workflow and coverage.
• Read, comprehend, and follow operator’s guides, work instructions, and other written documentation.
• Communicate job status clearly to previous and following shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent production.
• Share information with technical staff about issues, problems, or process variations observed during production.
• Keep and maintain accurate records of production activities, inspections, and related documentation.
• Follow clean room procedures, including gowning and contamination control practices, at all times.
• Support multiple functions as needed, including equipment operation, assembly, packaging, visual inspection, and occasional warehouse duties.
• Participate actively in setting and achieving department goals and expectations.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and remain flexible to move to other areas when requested.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, operator’s guides, and work documents.
• Ability to complete simple math, including addition and subtraction.
• Capability to operate injection molding presses and related production machinery after training.
• Strong attention to detail for visual, in-process, and final inspection of parts.
• Comfort working in a clean room environment and following gowning and contamination control procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow documented processes consistently.
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to work in different areas and support various tasks as needed.
• Willingness to rotate between machines, lines, and workstations to support production demands.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience in cleanroom, medical device, or medical assembly environments is beneficial.
• Experience in assembly, packaging, or production work is an advantage.
• Familiarity with operating production or automation equipment is helpful.
• Comfort using scanners and basic production tracking tools.

Work Environment

The role is based in a newly built and recently renovated cleanroom manufacturing facility that features modern, state-of-the-art equipment and automation, including robots that move product from the warehouse to the production floor. The environment is clean, organized, and temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable setting for daily work. You work in a clean room area and must gown up according to established procedures before entering the manufacturing space. The facility focuses on designing and building new product lines, so the work directly impacts products that move into large-scale production. The position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with straight 8-hour days. You receive two paid 10-minute breaks and one paid 20-minute lunch, resulting in 7 hours and 20 minutes of actual work time while being paid for 8 hours. The work involves operating equipment, assembling products, packaging, performing visual inspections, and occasionally assisting with warehouse tasks as needed, all within a structured, cleanroom environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Hudson, WI.

The pay range for this position is $29.45 - $29.45/hr.
