This is a 12-hour night shift position, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care to patients in various settings, including pediatrics, adults, and neonates. Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning treatment based on physician orders, establishing goals, and administering treatments and therapies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Perform intubation independently for adult patients.
• Administer oxygen, humidity therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Provide airway management, resuscitation, and chest physiotherapy.
• Conduct EKGs during off-hours and weekends.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold an active RRT certification; CRT acceptable if licensed before July 1, 2022.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Previous Level 2-3 NICU experience is preferred, including ventilator management.
• Experience with ped and adult patients is essential.
