Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
• Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
