Job Description

This position is part-time - 16 hours per week.

The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) specializes in the administration of intravenous medications, fluids, chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusion treatments.

This role is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient responses to treatment, and documenting nursing care in accordance with CMMC policies and procedures.

The Infusion RN educates patients and families regarding disease processes, medications, and treatment plans; ensures compliance with pre-infusion protocols; and coordinates care with physicians and other healthcare providers to support continuity of treatment.

The position participates in quality assurance activities, and promotes safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with organizational, regulatory, and professional standards.
