Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Travel) in Ukiah, California. Start date 11/09/2026 for 10 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,634–$2,827 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with labor and delivery and neonatal care capabilities. This assignment focuses on coordinated obstetric and neonatal nursing, with opportunities to contribute across labor, delivery, postpartum, and NICU-level care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients and assigned neonatal/pediatric patients according to standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of licensed and support staff on the unit; coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Collect relevant data, assess needs, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward outcomes; maintain a safe, healing environment.
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning and continuation of care after discharge.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; ensure accurate documentation and smooth unit workflow.
- Maintain labor, delivery, postpartum, and Level II nursery care competencies as applicable, including fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation procedures.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) or as otherwise assigned
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or NICU-related settings
- Education: BSN preferred; ADN may be considered with related experience
- Ability to work in a unit offering labor and postpartum care with Level II nursery capabilities
- Valid certification in BLS; ACLS and NRP required
- Vaccinations per organizational policy; compliance with safety and health requirements
- Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring and NICU-level care is preferred
