Program CoordinatorThe primary role of the Program Coordinator is to support the Bonner Office of Community Service's scholarship programs, campus-wide service, and engagement initiatives. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, facilitating group service projects & initiatives, supporting & planning, and the implementation of other events, activities, and initiatives. As necessary, this position will receive direction from the Assistant Director (i.e., student trips, student event logistics and preparation, events communication/correspondence, etc.)Required Qualifications - Must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.· Must possess proficiency in MS Office Suite software programs.· Ability to work with a sense of urgency and adapt to change easily.· Must possess strong customer service skills.· Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to prioritize workload is required.· Must be able to interact within a diverse community and ability to effectively work with a diverse group of stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree is required from a four-year post-secondary institution.· Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a community service program is preferred.· Previous work experience in higher education or non-profit organizations and teaching is preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Under the direction of the Assistant Director, perform coordination of student development (i.e., perform program orientation; leadership workshops; collaborating with college representatives for the program, etc.) for first-year scholars· Maintain accurate records of the scholar programs to include Bonner Foundation required service hours, monthly reports, and end-of-year service accomplishments through the Bonner web-based reporting system and the Servant Leaders student life and leadership app.· Assist the Assistant Director with identifying, coordinating, and monitoring all service placement sites for community service scholars.· Collaborate with the Assistant Director to create student development programs, training, and administration as prescribed by the Bonner Foundation· Process stipends and procurement requests for assigned scholar programs· Assist with coordination of campus-wide community service opportunities, inclusive of monthly Days of Service, alternative spring break, and It's On theHOUSEprogramPhysical Demands - Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time.· Must be flexible to work evenings or weekends as necessary.· Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 20 lbs as necessary.Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.· Must possess proficiency in MS Office Suite software programs.· Ability to work with a sense of urgency and adapt to change easily.Posting Number - S1486PNumber of Vacancies - 1Morehouse College is an equal opportunity employer.
