The Glass Worker / Glazier – Distribution is responsible for preparing, handling, and processing glass products for distribution within a door manufacturing environment. This role ensures that glass components are accurately selected, inspected, packaged, and staged according to production and shipping schedules. Working closely with the Distribution Glass Supervisor and under the direction of the Glass Manager, the position supports timely order fulfillment, quality standards, and safe material handling practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and process distribution orders for glass components used in door manufacturing.

· Select, measure, cut (if required), and prepare glass according to specifications.

· Inspect glass products for quality, accuracy, and defects prior to staging or shipment.

· Package and label glass units to ensure safe transport and proper identification.

· Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to meet delivery timelines.

· Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.

· Operate glass handling equipment, including suction devices, cutting tools, and carts.

· Follow all safety procedures related to glass handling and manufacturing operations.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Report production issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the Distribution Glass Supervisor and Glass Manager.

· Any additional duties as needed.

Requirements

. Experience with glass highly preferred

. Experience with handling powered required

. Able to lift 100 lbs

. Able to work in a warehouse

. Able to read English
