Associate / Retail Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our team! Tailwind is a rapidly growing company known for its commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence. We are committed to delivering exceptional dining and retail experiences to all travelers. As an Associate / Retail Team Member, you will support day-to-day operations across dining and retail functions, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service. You will greet and assist customers, manage transactions, maintain a clean and organized sales floor and coffee/food service area, manage inventory, and help the team meet sales and service goals. Your contributions will be critical to the success of our business.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, approachable manner; understand needs and provide product and menu recommendations
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately; operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process returns and exchanges per company policy
• Provide excellent customer service; address inquiries and concerns with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Craft and serve a variety of coffee drinks and specialty beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences; operate and maintain coffee equipment and station cleanliness
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light food items according to recipes and guest preferences
• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies; receive shipments, conduct stock counts, and report discrepancies
• Maintain sales floor and service areas by organizing displays, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards, and keeping back-of-house areas orderly
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily sales targets and deliver the best possible customer experience
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned to support store and terminal operations

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Clear, effective communication skills
• Customer service experience; previous retail, food service, or barista experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting and stocking merchandise
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass TSA background check to receive airport badge
• Must have reliable transportation

Pay: $15.15 per hour+tips
