Pharmacist Opportunity with Genoa Healthcare

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a per diem pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per diem pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

Hours of pharmacy: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.

Location: Community Health Center of Stamford at Fifth Street - 22 5th St, Room P Stamford, CT 06905

Primary responsibilities include distributing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, providing information to customers about medications and their use, focusing on providing a superior level of customer service, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy, and any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD, current pharmacist license in the state of Connecticut, and certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
