Occupational Therapy AssistantWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy +. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well-being.Responsibilities include:Perform comprehensive assessments on patients to formulate personalized treatment plans aligned with their individual needs and goals, operating within the OTA scope of practice.Review physician referrals and thoroughly examine patients' medical records to identify suitable occupational therapy interventions based on their condition, abilities, and treatment aims.Provide direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy procedures, promoting optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.Accurately and comprehensively document assessment results, treatment progress, and provided instructions for patients and their caregivers, adhering to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.Create written care plans and set measurable objectives based on initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic rehabilitation approach.Execute personalized occupational therapy treatment programs, integrating therapeutic exercises, adaptive tools, and environmental adjustments to improve patients' independence and quality of life.Maintain open communication with patients, caregivers, and team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address inquiries, and maximize treatment effectiveness.Ensure prompt completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident reports, to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for provided services.Qualifications include:Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy assistant program.
