We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Medicine practice in Lithonia and/or Lawrenceville, GA. This position offers a PRN-to-permanent arrangement starting with immediate coverage for team vacation needs through October 13, 2026, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a supportive, 100% outpatient office setting.

Tentative) Shifts

• Monday – Friday (Full-day 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Monday – Friday (Half-day 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
• Monday – Friday, various days, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

LOCATIONS : Lithonia or Lawrenceville

Key Responsibilities

• Provide flexible PRN coverage for staff vacation schedules through October 13, 2026, maintaining high standards of clinical care.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed health histories.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests and implement treatment plans under physician supervision.
• Manage patient referrals and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with practice staff in team meetings and support clinical initiatives, including meeting quality and incentive-driven measures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Credentials: Graduate of an accredited primary care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with a valid Georgia medical/license in good standing.
• Prescriptive Authority: Valid Schedule II/2N DEA license and active BCLS/ACLS certifications.
• Experience: 3+ years in primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, or infectious disease preferred (new graduates considered). Background in utilization management is a plus.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication, clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting diverse patient populations.
