Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment. Current CPR/BLS certification required from AHA or ARC. Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required due to home health travel. Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Home health experience preferred. Ability to perform clinical assessments, develop and document Plans of Care (POC), progress notes, and phone orders in accordance with agency and payer requirements. Experience with fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment and hand splints preferred. Ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and prolonged standing and walking as required in home health visits. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally for patient visits. Start/End Dates: Travel assignment beginning May and extending through August timeframe (assignment length listed by client). Candidate responsibilities: Provide in-home assessments and interventions, fabricate adaptive equipment and hand splints, document POCs and progress notes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team. Must be able to travel locally to patient homes. Floating to other service areas within the region may be required.
