Part -Time Cook (seasonal) 

University City Housing (UCH) is a Philadelphia-based firm that buys, renovates, maintains and manages real estate for long-term investment. UCH is seeking a motivated and responsible  Part-Time Cook  to work in a fast paced full service Clubhouse located in the heart of our community at Summit Park Apartments ( We encourage our residents to ‘Have Fun Where You Live’ and this role is critical in ensuring they can do just that! Our clubhouse includes a fitness facility, tennis courts, pools, restaurant and bar, shuttle service and a full events calendar.

Location: (ROXBOROUGH/MANAYUNK)

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
• Nights/weekend availability required including summer holiday weekends
• Minimum of one year kitchen experience preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe Certification
