An outpatient endocrinology clinic in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking locum tenens coverage due to a vacancy. The facility operates with a multidisciplinary team that includes a full-time MD, an APP, and Diabetes Educators to support coordinated patient care. The clinic provides a structured on-site environment focused on delivering specialized endocrine services to its adult patient population.

Annapolis, Maryland, serves as the state capital and is home to notable historical landmarks! The city offers cultural and educational attractions such as the Annapolis Maritime Museum, William Paca House & Garden, and St. John's College, alongside outdoor spaces like Sandy Point State Park and Quiet Waters Park. Dining establishments, music venues, and additional attractions are accessible within 25 miles, including Baltimore and St. Michaels.

The endocrinologist will provide outpatient endocrinology services during day shift hours, managing 18 to 20 patients per day with a focus on bread and butter endocrinology cases, including diabetes and thyroid management. The clinician will work alongside one full-time MD, an APP, and Diabetes Educators on-site to deliver coordinated endocrine care to an adult patient population. Minimal rotational call is required on a weekly basis, with after-hours phone coverage handled through an answering service. Board certification in Endocrinology is required for this position.

• Support Staff:  1 full-time MD, 1 APP, and Diabetes Educators
