Controller Jefferson Healthcare | Port Townsend, Washington Rural Staffing Services® is partnering with Jefferson Healthcare to find an experienced Controller who can bring strong accounting expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative approach to the Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash management, audits, regulatory reporting, and financial compliance. The role also supports budgeting, strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership development within the Finance Department. Jefferson Healthcare is looking for someone who can serve as a trusted financial partner across the organization while helping strengthen systems, support leaders, and protect the long-term financial health of the organization. What they are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required Five years of progressively responsible accounting leadership experience required Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Healthcare accounting or hospital finance experience preferred Experience with governmental accounting, Medicare Cost Reports, and external audits preferred Certified Public Accountant designation preferred Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Why Port Townsend?
