Make a difference this school year by providing essential support as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming, student-centered district near Sunnyvale, CA. This contract opportunity has you working directly on-site at two elementary schools, collaborating with teams to meet the needs of diverse caseloads without being the primary SLP at any site. Your skills will help address high student numbers and ensure assessments and therapy services remain top-notch.

Position Details:

• Start on September 25, 2026, with the contract continuing until a permanent district hire is made.
• Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm.
• Rotate between Braly Elementary (serving students with moderate to moderate-severe needs) and Briarwood Elementary (general education/preschool caseload). You’ll provide support at one campus each day, possibly working at different locations throughout the week.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active SLP Credentials; ASHA CCC strongly preferred.
• Previous school-based experience highly desirable.
• Experience or comfort with mixed caseloads, including general education, preschool, and students with higher support needs.
• Flexibility to work across more than one site as support staff.
• District does not require a state license, but one is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person speech/language therapy and interventions.
• Complete student assessments to help manage caseload overflow.
• Collaborate effectively with special educators, classroom teachers, and families.
• Maintain records and documentation in accordance with school policies.
• Travel between assigned school sites as scheduled.
