A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration We take pride in our well-established team of 16 Physicians and 6 APPs. Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties. Qualifications Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine. All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply. We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound. Scheduling Nocturnist shifts are set as 7 pm-7 am. Block scheduling is best. The current cadence is 7 shifts on and 7 shifts off. Key Responsibilities Manage admissions, cross-coverage calls, and Rapid Responses throughout the night in collaboration with the Advanced Practice Provider. Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support. No procedures or code blue response required. The hospital is located on the lake and provides the opportunity to be a part of new growth and development: new residential communities, new schools, new shopping stores, or you can be just a few minutes from rural living. If you prefer to be closer to St Louis, that is an option too - and it is still an easy commute. Louis Lampert International Airport offers easy access to international travel and is located approximately 30 minutes from the hospital. You will also find ample golf courses, walking and biking trails, and water activities. Rewards and Compensation Full-time yearly base salary of $364,000. Productive and quality incentives are provided in addition to the base salary. Commencement bonus and relocation allowance provided.
