Surgical Tech - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking experienced Surgical Techs to join our dynamic Labor and Delivery team. This role involves providing essential support during labor and delivery procedures, focusing on both high-risk antepartum and active labor cases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in L&D and the ability to handle complex obstetric cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a part of the L&D team
• Provide 1:1 support during active labor and 1:2 during earlier stage labor
• Care for high-risk antepartum patients with ratios of 1:1 to 1:3
• Participate in triage and PACU with 2-3 RNs
• Support induction of labor procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NRPEFM preferred

Schedule

This position requires working 3 × 11.5 hour shifts per week, with shift times from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A 60-minute unpaid lunch is included, and the role involves alternating weekends.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
