W.B. Guimarin & Company is seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team. What You'll Do

Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related mechanical systems
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Work closely with foremen, technicians, plumbers, and other trades on commercial construction projects
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site

Qualifications

4+ years of HVAC sheet metal fabrication or mechanical construction experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand HVAC layouts
Experience fabricating and assembling ductwork and sheet metal components
Knowledge of HVAC materials, and building codes
Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, brakes, shears, and other fabrication equipment
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Stable work history and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, kneel, crawl, and work in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely navigate active construction sites
