Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Knowledgeable in nursing practice as outlined by the state nurse practice act
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and research

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care
• Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary care team
• Uphold the voice of the patient and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Support service excellence goals
• Implement nursing practice standards put forth by the professional nursing organization
