Diesel Technician

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Horseheads, NY. You will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools To be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Experience: Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) Valid NYS drivers license required with no restrictions.
