After School Sports Instructor

The Player Progression Academy (PPA) is a premier sports organization in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our mission is to create great experiences and holistic development through sports. PPA offers athletic programs for players aged 2 - 18 with a focus on helping each player achieve athletic excellence, build a dynamic social network, and learn to apply the principles of sport into healthy lifestyle habits that can be carried through life. We are respected for having a highly decorated staff of coaches and professionals who apply passion, creativity, and excitement to our programs. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE DC/MD AREA

What will you do? Lead 1-4 after-school youth sports clinics with a local school partnered with PPA (1-1.5 hours each) Positions open for soccer and basketball Assist kids and school staff with the dismissal process Send weekly communications to the parents of the kids in the program Who are we looking for? Someone who will follow the PPA coaching principles - be prepared, be a teacher, teach PPA Life values. Someone who will Coach in a manner that is energetic, fun, active, and that creates a memorable experience for our athletes. Someone who will communicate effectively with other PPA Staff and correspond kindly, timely and effectively with parents. Someone who will be a team player and not hesitate to help out where needed throughout the season.
