Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers, and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technology. Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology department is currently searching for a full-time Sr. Radiation Therapist to join their team. As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will: Assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning and delivering Ionizing radiation therapy Act as primary liaison between patients and radiation team Ensure patient safety Weekly chart review for quality assurance Train Radiation Therapy students and new staff What Awaits You? Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist Three (3) years’ experience within a comprehensive cancer center #J-18808-Ljbffr
