Alwahban Management is the corporate management office for Texas Tires, supporting the accounting, financial, administrative, and operational needs of our growing multi-location retail organization. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes across the company.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of our growing multi-location retail company. This role is responsible for accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, and reviewing financial activity for errors or discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- General ledger management and journal entries
- Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end close
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Review of invoices, expenses, and accounting records
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, unusual transactions, and accounting errors
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
- Assist with audits and financial documentation
- Support and review junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-location or high-volume accounting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field needed
We are looking for someone who can not only process accounting transactions, but also analyze financial data, identify issues, and help strengthen accounting controls and processes.
