A dynamic opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist to contribute to a hospital setting in Salem, OR is now available. This 13-week contract role offers a unique schedule, working 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, providing an excellent work-life balance during the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications to patients under hospital protocols.
• Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system efficiently to document and review prescriptions.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including patient counseling and drug information.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist License required at the time of application.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy environment is preferred.
• Proficient with EPIC EMR system or the ability to quickly learn hospital-specific software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
