Dining Room Server Assistant
As a Dining Room Server Assistant at Keeneland Hospitality, you play a key support role in delivering a high-quality dining experience to guests during Keeneland's live race meets and special events. You work closely with servers and dining room staff to maintain clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready tables while ensuring service flows smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guest tables quickly and accurately.
- Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils, maintain cleanliness and organization of tables throughout service.
- Refill water glasses and respond to guest needs when appropriate.
- Keep service stations stocked, organized, and clean throughout your shift.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house to help maintain consistent service.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Keeneland's standards of excellence at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
- Be comfortable working on your feet for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.
- Be at least 16 years old.
Licensing Requirements
- A valid Fayette County Food Handler's License is required for all food and beverage staff. Must be obtained prior to the first scheduled shift.
- A Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license is required for all track workers. This license will be provided to you on behalf of Keeneland upon hire.
