Job Description

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Multi-Asset Class Strategies team. This is an exceptional opportunity to help build a new multi-asset research effort at the firm as part of a small entrepreneurial team. This group will focus on all major global asset classes including, but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Options/Volatility. The successful candidate will be integral to developing multi-asset investment capabilities for the firm's clients, including return models, risk models and portfolio construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Forecast capital markets using econometric methods
• Construct portfolios using rigorous quantitative methods
• Collect, clean and transform large datasets
• Perform historical simulations
• Develop automated reports of research results
• Present research results in a clear and intuitive manner – visually, verbally and written
• Follow global financial markets on a daily basis

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of quantitative experience in a multi-asset group

Bachelor's degree with an outstanding academic record in a technical field such as mathematics, science or engineering; Master's or PhD degree strongly preferred

Experience with traditional and non-traditional alpha factors

Passionate interest in following financial markets and a strong quantitative orientation for investing

Strong programming experience – willingness and ability to quickly master Python and SQL

World-class analytic skills and the ability to clearly articulate the approach, process and results in verbal, graphical and written form

Creativity, enthusiasm, collegiality and the ability to excel in a self-starting environment

Drive and humility to deliver on high value projects and roll up your sleeves attitude
