Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech in a travel assignment focusing on ultrasound imaging, located in Burlington, Vermont, United States. Start date: 07/23/2026 for a 4-week assignment. Shift is 5x8 days. Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography studies in the echo lab, generating high-quality images and accurate measurements
- Maintain workflow targets of 7–8 studies per day and support occasional float to outpatient facilities as needed
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and ensure comfort and safety during imaging
- Document findings and enter data in the EPIC EMR, ensuring timely and accurate charting
- Collaborate with cardiology, nursing, and other staff to coordinate care and communicate results
- Participate in call duties as required and adhere to facility protocols and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with patient populations including inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings

Requirements
- ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) certification required
- AHA BLS certification required
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (equivalency) acceptable
- Ability to work in a hospital echo lab environment; Monday through Sunday availability; no block scheduling
