SAP FI Consultant

Job description Job Title: SAP FI Consultant Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday) Duration: 3 Months (Potential Extension) Employment Type: Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP FI (Financial Accounting) Consultant to support core finance operations for a short-term engagement with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP FI modules and experience supporting day-to-day financial processes in an enterprise SAP environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support for SAP FI modules and core financial operations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain SAP Financial Accounting processes.
• Support business users by resolving production issues and optimizing financial workflows.
• Collaborate with finance and technical teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Participate in system testing, documentation, and process improvements.
• Assist with enhancements and support activities related to financial reporting and month-end close.

Required Skills: • 12+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI. • Strong knowledge of:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) is preferred.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving functional issues.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Prior experience in finance transformation or support projects.
