Job Summary & Qualifications As a Janitorial Associate, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of patient care areas, administrative areas, ancillary support areas, rest rooms, and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support. What You Will Do In This Role Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods. Prepare the Environmental Service carts for assigned area. Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas including rooms for incoming patients. Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens. Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request. Apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques. Qualifications Must read, speak, and understand English. Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory. We are an equal opportunity employer.
