What you will do as a PMC Nurse Manager As a PMC Nurse Manager, you will serve as an essential part of the patient experience by planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations within an assigned clinic or department to ensure quality patient care. You will also fulfill Registered Nurse duties as needed due to staffing issues. This role supports primary care operations in Sanford and our Pinehurst North location. A day in the life of a PMC Nurse Manager may include: Planning, organizing, and supervising nursing duties and providing leadership to comply with governmental, accreditation, and other regulations, and with the policies set forth by Pinehurst Medical Clinic. Assisting in the selection, training, monitoring, and evaluation of departmental staff. Supervising RN, LPN, CMA, or other support staff. Developing and implementing a nursing plan of care for patients and communicating the plan to patients as prescribed by the physician, including test results, scheduling of specialized tests and treatment modalities, prescription drug instructions, and other patient education such as procedures and disease processes. Obtaining, reviewing, verifying, and completing health care forms related to home health care, referrals, medical equipment, and other patient or physician needs as appropriate. Maintaining patient flow and workflow. Working collaboratively as a team member of the clinic staff to deliver high‑quality, efficient service to patients and the clinic. Participating in quality improvement team efforts, including meetings to discuss quality assurance improvement initiatives. Assisting with assigned special projects or accountabilities when other priorities are identified. Playing a key role in the PMC mission by providing superior care to our patients and the communities we serve. Required Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred. BLS/CPR certification required. Preferred Qualifications Two years of clinical or ambulatory nursing experience preferred. Two or more years of experience in a nursing supervisor or manager role preferred.
