Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our innovative imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Engage in teamwork with radiologists and referring medical providers to produce high-caliber diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues swiftly
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and ideal patient positioning
