Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Oncology - $33-45 per hour

Job Title Lee Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Oncology for a nursing job in Estero, Florida. Location BHC Infusion Center – 3501 Health Center Blvd Suite 1127 Bonita Springs FL 34135 Summary Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Perform responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving and differentiation of urgency in the role of clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership and professional development. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission. Use knowledge of patients’ age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. The nurse practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements. Role Details Duration: Ongoing Work Type: Full Time Shift: 7:45:00AM – 4:30:00PM (Shift 1) Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour days) Department: Oncology Outpatient Position: Registered Nurse – Outpatient Oncology Location: Bonita Springs (Florida) Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $33.37 – $45.05 per hour. Hiring Incentive: $10,000 relocation bonus and $1,800 per month housing stipend for three (3) months for qualified candidates. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. Associates or Bachelors preferred. Experience: Required. Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units requiring Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department; see Nursing Addendums. License: Currently licensed in the State of Florida. Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in a specialty area preferred.
