Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Psychologist role based in Pella, IA. The Psychologist will prinarily conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans but also provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to clients. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case consultations, and monitoring client progress to adjust interventions as needed. The Psychologist will also contribute to a supportive environment by upholding ethical standards, promoting client safety, and engaging in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical, evidence-based interventions. Proficiency in Counseling and therapeutic techniques to support clients through individual, group, or family sessions. Skill in Psychological Assessment, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized tests and clinical evaluations. Understanding of Medicine as it relates to mental health treatment, including coordination with psychiatric and medical providers when appropriate. Advanced degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology or a closely related field, with current or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in Iowa. Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural humility and inclusive, non-discriminatory practice. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a clinical caseload responsibly.
