Job Description

A client-centered small/mid-size CPA firm is seeking an Audit Associate to support financial statement audits and assurance engagements in a mentoring team environment.

Highlights

Perform audit fieldwork: testing, documentation, walkthroughs, and workpaper prep under GAAS
Assist with year-end audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held clients
Collaborate with seniors and managers; learn industries from manufacturing to professional services
Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA eligibility preferred; 0-2 years audit / assurance experience
Hybrid options with work-life balance and supportive busy-season planning

Compensation & benefits

Base salary: $60,000-$75,000 DOE
Performance bonus / year-end bonus potential
Medical, dental, and vision insurance

PTO plus paid holidays
CPE / CPA exam support and professional development
Hybrid with fieldwork as needed; busy season typically winter/spring with lighter summer recovery
Structured path Associate Senior with CPE, study support, and a people-first culture
