Safety Coordinator Details:

  • Direct hire position
  • $67,000.00/annually
  • First shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across all company facilities, ensuring workplace hazards are identified, addressed, and prevented before incidents occur.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazard Communication, Machine Guarding, Electrical Safety, PPE, Hearing Conservation, and SDS compliance.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and performance tracking to measure effectiveness, reduce workplace injuries, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.
  • Coordinate and deliver employee safety training, new hire orientations, emergency preparedness programs, and ongoing safety education while maintaining all required safety records, inspections, and compliance documentation.

Safety Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and related industry requirements.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and Teams to support reporting, training, and communication activities.
  • Safety certifications (ASP, GSP, OHST, SMP, CIT, STS, or similar) are highly valued.
