As IT Technical Product Manager , your work will help shape the technology ecosystem that powers the credit union's operations, employee experience, and member experience.

You'll serve as the strategic owner of Utah First's core banking platform and related technology products, helping guide critical decisions that affect how we serve members today and how we grow tomorrow. You'll influence enterprise priorities, lead a team of Product Owners, and ensure our technology investments deliver measurable business value while maintaining security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Here's what that looks like day to day:

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Utah First's core banking platform and related technology products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Own and prioritize product backlogs, balancing innovation, business requests, technical debt, scalability, performance, compliance, and operational needs
• Partner with business leaders, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical requirements, user stories, and product priorities
• Lead and develop a team of Product Owners while establishing clear expectations, delivery standards, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement
• Use data, performance metrics, testing results, and operational insights to evaluate product success, inform decisions, and drive ongoing optimization

Schedule: Monday-Friday during regular business hours at our Salt Lake City, Utah corporate headquarters.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology products through concept, launch, adoption, optimization, and scale
• Experience working with a credit union core banking platform, financial-services technology provider, FinTech company, or other regulated-industry technology environment
• Strong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized product backlogs
• Hands-on experience using data, analytics, and performance metrics to drive product decisions and measure outcomes
• Demonstrated leadership experience guiding Product Owners or cross-functional product teams
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executives, operational leaders, engineers, and external partners
• Proven ability to operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Jack Henry Symitar
• Experience within a credit union, community financial institution, FinTech, or payment-services environment
• Experience leading multiple technology products or product portfolios
• Familiarity with experimentation, product optimization, and data-driven product development practices
• Coding proficiency or software-development experience
