Shift: 4am-12:30pm Mon-Fri (Overtime may be required based on production needs including Saturdays)

Pay: $20-$24/hr (Based on skills/experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing equipment, production operations, and facility maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, be experienced with automated production equipment, and have the ability to fabricate or modify machine components when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing equipment and production operations.
• Conduct facility maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
• Work with automated production machinery and labeling equipment.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair machine parts and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose and repair automated production equipment.
• Operate drill presses, lathes, and milling machines.
• Troubleshoot 24 VDC control systems, sensors, fiber optic sensors, solenoids, stepper motors, and servo motors.
• Safely and effectively troubleshoot AC voltage systems.
• Understand industrial electrical systems and machine controls.
• Familiarize with motors, drives, conveyors, and production line systems.
• Handle servo-driven automation systems.
• Work in high-speed manufacturing environments.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with automated production equipment.
• Ability to fabricate or modify machine components.
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot control systems and AC voltage systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment preferred.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The position follows a first shift schedule from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required based on production needs, with Saturday work often needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ocala,FL.
