We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Sales Finance Lead to join our New Zealand Finance team, based in Newmarket. These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:Partner with the NZ MD to develop the annual plans to deliver the targets for the yearEnsure accurate trade spend managementAnalyse monthly financial performance being clear on variances to forecast and budgetImplement strong and clear process in NZ in line with broader ANZ with clear responsibilities across Sales, Sales Finance, Category Finance, RGM, Controlling and GBSDrive the cost optimization and KPI of merchandisers and 3rd party sales forceAccurate forecasting across clusters. Ensuring accurate forecasting of trade spend and working with RGM on delivering the expected RGM plansDirect, develop and approve sales and co-op strategies and tactics for the Retail, Food Service and Exports businessWork with Heads of Customers to understand key P&L levers and drive improved performanceDevelop and implement an optimal Go to Market strategy for the Route businessDrive sales plans through the sales team and develop and oversee the implementation of pricing and credit policies and terms of businessRepresent and negotiate on behalf of the company at industry level on major accountsDrive a growth and business development culture and develop a robust NPD pipeline tailored to channelsDrive category management and sales plans through retail sales teamReview, analyze and approve BU sales budgets and forecasts and recommend activities to ensure the achievement of volume, sales and profit targetsGuide and support the sales team, and develop a high-performance cultureWhat you'll bring:Strong business partnering skills including demonstrated experience at senior stakeholder levelsDeep grasp of commercial fundamentals in CPG/FMCG environmentStrong understanding of trade spend management and accrualsTertiary qualification in accounting / financeCA/CPA or equivalent8yrs+ of experience in commercial finance and/or FP&AExperience in FMCG companies at a senior levelExperience in working in environment dealing with large retailersReady to make an Impact?If you're a Finance professional, a collaborative team player, and passionate about delivering value, we want to hear from you.
